The 2004 National Conference - Business and Social Responsibility - consolidates itself as the most important space for discussing the many aspects of the socially responsible enterprise management in our country. It is also an event that stimulates ideas and practices, that help the enterprises to reflect upon social responsibility and its implementation.

This sixth edition's central theme is "Society and Business Sustainability". The event incorporates a set of changes aiming to widen its formative character; to contribute for personal and professional development; to stimulate the interchange of experiences; and to discuss the enterprises' guiding tendencies in the development of ethic and transparent management processes and methods for the promotion of the sustainability of both their business and the society.

The news

Greater depth: the structure of the 2004 National Conference privileges thoroughness, debates, and learning. All activities were designed following this concept and, put together, they offer a broad vision of the theme, aiming to assist the different interest levels of the participants.

New activities: for the three-day event, there will be eighteen activities: two Plenary Sessions, two Round-Tables, eight Thematic Panels, and six Management Workshops.

Important: the Management Workshops will be coordinated by the six voluntary consultants invited. In partnership with tens of enterprises, they took the challenge of developing management processes and systems that may contribute for the social responsibility implementation in the organizations. Each Workshop is structured as a course, with the presentation of concepts, the demonstration of practices, exercises and group debates. Besides, the participants will receive a document-synthesis, a guide to implement effective actions, in their business.

New: to allow the participants the choice of more than one theme, each Workshop will be offered, integrally, in two different schedules.

More participants: in previous editions, a significant number of interested people couldn't participate of the event, due to lack of space. This time, aiming to meet that demand, and avoid the undesirable waiting lists, the number of registrations was increased in 20%. But beware: the enrollment number has increased, but it is still limited. Act now to ensure your participation.

New venue: to increase the enrollment number and to facilitate the operation of the event's many activities, we have transferred the 2004 National Conference to the Transamérica São Paulo Hotel, located in the South area of the city, easily accessed by the Pinheiros Marginal, and close to the Congonhas Airport.
